21.7.25 - This evening, Neil was up at South London playing the District Men's Singles. Neil started well leading 14 - 1 after 8 ends, his opponent then settled and began to draw well, getting back to 10 - 19, before Neil secured the win 21 - 10, to book the club's 16th place in the District 1/4 - finals.

20.7.25 - This afternoon 20 bowlers took to the green, to take part in the Qualifying Rounds of the Club Two Woods competition. Each bowler was randomly placed into one of two groups, and then from there each bowler played three six end matches against randomly selected opponents. 19.7.25 - This evening Neil was up at Belmont for the District Mixed Singles. With Neil's opponent starting well, Neil was 3 - 6 down after 6 ends, before a change of mat length saw him take the lead, edging ahead to win 21 - 12. This gives WPBC our 4th place in the District semi-finals.

17.7.25 - This afternoon we were at home to Streatham Park for our latest Mid-Week Triples match. Rosalind, Pete and Martin started strongly, leading 7 - 2 after 4 ends. 15.7.25 - This morning Neil was over at Southey playing for Surrey as they took on Middlesex for a place in the 1/4 - final of the National Mixed Over-60's Inter-County competition. At the end of the match, Neil was part of the top scoring rink, winning 25 - 10 and contributing to Surrey's narrow 121 - 114 win across the six rinks.

14.7.25 - This evening, Matt D, Barry and Neil hosted Belmont in the District Men's Triples. Starting strongly, with some great leading from Matt, WPBC were 10 - 1 up after 5 ends, going on to book their place in the 1/4 - final with a 21 - 7 win. This gives the club our 15th place in the District 1/4 - finals.
