District Top 10 1/4 – Final

28.7.23 - This evening we were due to play Magdalen Park in the District Top 10 competition. Unfortunately our opponents were unable to field a team and so we advance to the semi-final where we will play Heathfield. More

District Mixed Triples 1/4 – Final

27.7.23 - This evening Claire T, Pete and Martin played Southey in the 1/4 - Final of the District Mixed Triples. Unfortunately for Wimbledon Park, Southey settled the quickest, going through to the semi-final with a 19 - 6 win. More

District Men’s Singles

25.7.23 - This evening Neil hosted Southey in the District Men’s Singles, but it was his opponent who was by far the more consistent bowler, advancing to the 1/4 - final with a 21 - 11 win. More

District Mixed Pairs

24.7.23 - This evening Claire T and Martin played Southey in the District Mixed Pairs. After a competitive match it was Southey who  advanced to the 1/4 - Final with a 21 - 13 win. More

1/4 – Final of the District Mixed Singles

24.7.23 - This morning Neil was away at Wandilea playing the 1/4-final of the District Mixed Singles. Despite taking the game to 27 ends, Neil found the green more difficult than his opponent, who edged Neil out 15 - 21. More

Success in the District Men’s Pairs

22.7.23 - This morning Pete and Martin played South London in the District Men’s Pairs. After close exchanges WPBC managed to pull ahead towards the end, booking their place in the last-16 with an 18 - 15 win. More

12th and 13th District 1/4-Final Places Are Secured

21.7.23 - This evening players were involved in three away District competitions. Sabrina, Barry and Neil were over at Wandilea for the Mixed Triples. Drawing well throughout they booked a 1/4 - final place with a 20 - 7 win. Up at Magdalen Park, Martin played the Over-60s Singles which he won 21 - 11, to book his 1/4 - ... More

A Place in Our 11th District 1/4-Final

20.7.23 - This evening, back at Wimbledon Park, Bobby played Martin in the District Men’s Singles. Unfortunately for Bobby, Martin was on song and Martin joins Richard F in the 1/4-finals. More

A Close Match in the District Mixed Pairs

15.7.23 - This afternoon Sara and Neil played South London in the District Mixed Pairs. In a close, high-scoring game, it was South London who just edged the game winning 20 - 17. More
