3.6.18 – This afternoon we welcomed Colliers Wood to the green for the second league match of 2018. First to finish were Claire, Ange, Ossie and Neil who posted a 27 – 13 win, second off the green were Anne, Steve, Sabrina and Barry who were narrowly ahead after 10 ends when they led 10- 6, but a strong second half saw them home by 28 shots to 15. The final rink to finish were George, Rosalind, Vernon and Pete who battled all game coming back from 1 – 8 after 5 ends to 11 – 14 with three ends to play. Unfortunately the final three ends saw Colliers Wood finish strongly to win 23 – 11. Match result 8 – 2 (66 shots to 51).
