A Busy Night in the Surrey Competitions

16.6.22 This evening we had three Surrey matches taking place. At home, Barry and Neil faced Belmont in the Surrey Men’s Pairs. After a close start, WPBC pulled away to win 21 – 9.

Over at Southwark Sports, Pete and Martin played their Men’s Pairs. The home side settled quickly keeping WPBC at bay, going on to win 24 – 9.

At Shirley Park, Anne, Claire T and Sabrina played the Ladies’ Triples. Again the home side started well, opening up a 10 – 1 lead after 6 ends. Battling back, WPBC levelled the gap to 13 – 11 with three ends to play, only to see Shirley Park build on their narrow lead to win 21 – 14.
