Strong Start in the Surrey Over~55 Men’s Fours

9.5.23 This evening, Barry, Richard S, Pete and Martin got off to a flying start to lead 13-0 in the opening round of the Surrey Over-55 Men’s Fours. Playing Purley Bury at home, the lead was good enough to see hands shaken after 15 of the 18 ends had been played. Wimbledon Park advancing to Monday’s second round with a 19-11 win.
