League Match Away at Merton BC

29.6.24 – This afternoon we had our latest away league match as we travelled to Merton BC. First to finish were Rosalind, Sallie, Richard F and Martin who found their opponents in fine form, going down 9 – 25. Second off were Sarah (making her league debut), Jay, Claire T and Neil who were only two shots behind at end 14, before dropping a 5 to go down 13 – 18. Last off were William, Bob, Sue F and Pete  who picked up 7 shots in the last 6 ends, to narrowly go down 15 – 17. Match result 0 – 10 (37 shots to 60). Back at the green we hosted our next bowls party. Thank you to Barry for liaising with the party as they started and to Claire T and Sue F for their help clearing up after the party.
