Through to Final Number 5

26.8.24 – This afternoon, up at South London, Anne, Claire T, Martin and Neil played Belmont in the semi-final of the District Mixed Fours. Starting strongly WPBC led 17 – 5 after 10 ends, before Belmont won the next four ends to reduce the lead to 17 – 15. Fortunately for Wimbledon Park, that was as close as it got and our 5th place in the District Finals was booked with a 25 – 15 win.
