Club Two Wood Singles

20.7.25 – This afternoon 20 bowlers took to the green, to take part in the Qualifying Rounds of the Club Two Woods competition.  Each bowler was randomly placed into one of two groups, and then from there each bowler played three six end matches against randomly selected opponents. With each bowler having one match left to play, seven bowlers were in contention for the four Semi Final places. As it transpired Vera was the only bowler to win all of her three matches and she was joined, in the Semi-Finals, by Neil, Barry and Martin, who all won two matches and drew one match. In the six end Semi-Finals Barry beat Neil 5 – 2 and Vera beat Martin 5 – 4, so it’s Vera vs Barry at Finals Weekend.
