Club 2 Wood Qualification Afternoon

On Sunday afternoon we had the qualifying rounds of the Club 2 Wood Singles.

In weather much more comfortable than previous weeks, twenty bowlers took to the green, to play the Qualifying Rounds of The Club Two Wood Competition.

Bowlers were randomly drawn into Purple and Green Groups, to play three bowlers in their group, over 6 ends. The only bowler to win all three matches was Jackie, who went straight through, from the Purple Group, to the Semi-Finals. Which left four bowlers in the Group tied on seven points, and two of those also tied on a plus nine shot difference, which led to Jay qualifying, having beaten Martin, in an extra four end shoot out.

The Green Group was just as bad to work out, with nobody winning all of their matches, and five bowlers tying on 7 Points. Neil ended up winning the Group, with Gail in second place, due to very comfortable shot differences.

Neil then went on to beat Jay in their Semi-Final, with Jackie beating Gail. So Jackie and Neil qualify for Finals Weekend.
