Up against it from the off, WPBC dug deep early on to take the lead 4 - 3 after 5 ends. Unfortunately that was as close as it got, with Wandilea advancing to the Surrey 1/4 finals with a 19 - 9 win.

30.6.22 This evening, Barry and Neil were up at Heathfield to play South London in the Surrey Pairs. On what turned out to be a tricky rink, S London led 9 - 2 after 5 ends. 5 ends later and WPBC had closed the gap to 9 - 10. Unfortunately that was as close as it got, with S London going on to win 21 - 12.

29.6.22 This evening Neil was up at South London for the District Champion of Champions. Drawing well from the start, Neil advanced to the 1/4 final with a 21 - 4 win.

28.6.22 This evening, Barry, Richard S and Neil were over at Purley Bury for the Surrey Triples. In a close game, WPBC won 11 of the 18 ends, to book a place in the Divisional Final, with a 16 - 11 win.

27.6.22 This evening, Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil welcomed Purley Bury in the Surrey Men’s Fours. Despite dropping a count of 5 on the 15th end, to enable their opponents to draw level, winning the final three ends saw WPBC through to the Area semi-final with an 18 - 12 win.

25.6.22 This morning Rosalind and Martin took on Heathfield in the District over 55 Mixed Pairs. Starting strongly WPBC led 11 - 6, before Heathfield settled. Heathfield going on to win 19 - 13.

24.6.22 This evening Claire T and Martin were at home to Purley in the Surrey Mixed Pairs. With a strong performance throughout, WPBC advanced to the Area 1/4 final with a 21 - 3 win.
Up at Heathfield, Bobby, Richard F, Richard S and Neil played in the Surrey Top 4. Another strong performance saw them win 11 of the 16 ends played, winning 24 - 11.
