21.6.22 This evening we had a local derby in the District Mixed Triples as Claire T, Pete and Martin played Gail, Rosalind and Richard F. At the end of the evening, the honours went to Claire T, Pete and Martin who advanced to the 1/4 final.

21.6.22 This afternoon, Barry, Richard S and Neil welcomed Rose Hill in the Surrey Men’s Triples. A strong start saw WPBC pick up counts of 4, 5 and 6 in the first six ends. Continuing to play well, Wimbledon Park went on to win 27 - 11.

20.6.22 Today over at West Wimbledon BC the 2022 Merton Tournament took place between 2 teams from Garfield Primary School and 2 teams from Hollymount Primary School.
After each team had played their three games, Garfield Primary had amassed more points to win the 2022 trophy, whilst Hollymount Harriers were the top individual team.

19.6.22 This morning Richard S and Neil played South London in the National Senior Pairs. In a close game, where the lead changed hands 6 times, a count of 5 on the 16th end proved decisive, with WPBC booking a place in the Surrey (East) semi-final with a 20 - 13 win.

17.6.22 This evening Martin played Southey in the District Men’s Singles. Southey started well to lead 6 - 0, but Martin quickly settled to his game, pulling back to win 21 - 9.
Also at home, Sara and Neil played their District Mixed Pairs against Belmont. With both home players drawing well, hands were shaken after 12 ends with WPBC winning 21 - 2.
