This afternoon Neil played South London in the Seni-Final of the District Champion of Champions competition. Playing over at Belmont, on a neutral green, the scores were tight throughout and level at 13 - 13, before Neil edged ahead to win 21 - 14, booking the club’s first place in the District Finals in September.

This evening Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil played Belmont, as they continued the defence of their Surrey Over-55 Men’s Fours title. Despite leading 5 - 0, it was Heathfield who took the honours with a 13 - 11 win.

This morning Neil welcomed Streatham Park to the green for the Quarter-Final of the District Mixed Singles. With both bowlers drawing well, it was Neil who edged ahead to lead 19 - 6, before his opponent upped a gear and closed the gap to 19 - 14. A last end count of two saw Neil through to the Semi-Final with a 21 - 14 win.
