1.6.25 - This afternoon Pete and Neil were over at Temple BC for the opening round of the Men’s National Senior Pairs. Unfortunately dropping a count of 6 on the first end was not the start WPBC wanted, but 7 ends later they had closed the gap to two shots at 8 - 10. That was as close as it got though, as the hosts took the victory 20 - 9.

31.5.25 - At this morning’s sunny taster session we had 8 club members on the green along with 4 visitors. At the end of the busy session we welcomed Kelsie, Andrew and Veronique our 4th, 5th and 6th new members to join WOBC this year. We look forward to getting to know them in the coming weeks.

30.5.25 - This evening Neil welcomed Wallington to the green for the next round of the National Over-60’s Singles. Unfortunately for Neil his opponent settled the quickest, pulling away to build a lead which he developed, going on to win 21 - 8.

29.6.25 - This morning, Neil was up at South London for the next round of the National Champion of Champions competition. A close game ensued with the scores level at 6 - 6 after seven ends, before Neil opened up a 13 - 6 gap five ends later. Not to be outdone, South London came right back to trail 11 - 13, before Neil managed to secure the win 21 - 12.
