One of the 24 teams of four to take part, the Wimbledon Park team beat West Wimbledon in their first six end game, before losing 3- 5 to Magdalen Park. May 29th - this morning Sabrina visited Southey to take on their club champion in the Surrey Champion of Champions Competition. Up against a multiple Surrey champion, Sabrina acquitted herself well, but it was the Southey bowler who advanced to the next round following her 21 - 11 victory.

May 28th - this morning Jonathan travelled to Cove BC for his debut in the White Rose Under-25 double rink competition as Surrey took on Hampshire. At the end of the game Jonathan's rink had come out winners by 20 - 13. The other Surrey rink were up against 4 Hampshire Middleton Cup bowlers who dominated the game knocking Surrey out with a 38 - 14 win.

May 27th - this evening Sabrina and Neil played Gonville in Round 2 of the National Mixed Pairs. In a game which had lots of interesting ends, including one no end and another in which not two but three bowls all ended up touching the jack, Sabrina and Neil played tidily throughout the game, managing to advance to Round 3 following their 19 - 9 victory.
