25.5.25 – This morning Neil welcomed North Sheen to the green for the next round of the National Over 60’s Singles. In a rather topsy-turvy game, Neil got off to a slow start trailing 4 – 9 after nine ends, before settling in to take the lead 18 – 9, seven ends later. This only spurred on his opponent, who levelled the match at 18 – 18 before ditching the jack and with a change of jack length Neil secured the 3 shots required to win 21 – 18.
