10th District Quarter-Final Place is Secured

18.7.18 – This evening Sabrina, Barry and Neil played at Merton BC in the District Mixed Triples competition. Starting well WPBC led 9 – 4 after 7 ends before Merton fought back, taking the lead 10 – 9, five ends later. After 17 ends Wimbledon Park lead 14 – 11. With Merton picking up two shots on the final end it was WPBC who squeezed through to the quarter-final by the closest of margins, with a 14 – 13 victory.
