5th District Quarter-Final Place is Secured

10.7.18 – This evening Barry and Neil were up at Heathfield in the District Men’s Pairs. Picking up a 5 on the first end was followed up by some high quality drawing and after 12 ends Wimbledon Park were 19 – 9 ahead. The game then changed as the Heathfield bowlers put on the pressure and with one end to play the lead was down to a single shot. The final end saw the jack moved a couple of times with it finally ending up just behind one of Barry’s Bowls. The 23 – 21 win was enough to see WPBC through to the quarter-final, their 5th of the season so far.
