A Close Contest in the Surrey Men’s Pairs

6.6.19 – This evening Pete and Neil welcomed Colliers Wood to the green for the start of the Surrey Men’s Pairs. In what turned out to be a tight game with low scoring on most ends, a run of four ends which went 3 to CWBC, 4 to WPBC, 5 to CWBC and 6 to WPBC brought the home side level at 13 – 13 after 10 ends. The second half just went to Wimbledon Park who edged through to the next round with a 21 – 18 win.
