Another Closely Contested District Semi-Final

12.8.25 – This evening, up at South London, Jackie and Neil played Southey, in the semi-final of the District Mixed Pairs. In a close game, WPBC just held the lead by a single shot after 6 ends and again after 10 ends. With both teams drawing well and playing some great conversion shots, it was Wimbledon Park who managed to win 7 of the last 8 ends to take the game, and the club’s 2^nd place in the District Finals with a 17 – 10 win.
