Last 16 of the Surrey Men’s 2 Woods

28.7.24 – This morning Neil was over at Old Coulsdon BC for the last rounds of the Surrey 2-Woods competition. In the Round of 16 Neil played Wallington. With both players finding the green to be very heavy, it was Wallington who settled quickest, opening up a 10 – 3 lead. Neil then rallied to close the gap to 8 – 10, but that was as close as it got as Wallington went through to the ¼ – finals with a 17 – 8 win.
