League Match at Home to Mitcham

25.8.24 – This afternoon we were fortunate enough to have 13 people sign up for the league match against Mitcham, which was great. All three rinks were very close at the midway point but unfortunately Mitcham took all three games in the end. First off were Sue F, Mark, Anne and Claire T who lost by just 1 point with great last bowls from the Mitcham skip. Next off were William, Jay, Rosalind and Martin, winning 8 of the 10 ends, followed by Sallie, Bob, Caroline and Richard F who were on level scores after the 15th end. Three good games but the final score was 0-8 (42-61). Thanks to Elaine for being a super helpful reserve and Jackie for her support too.
