League Match Away at Magdalen Park

3.8.24 – This afternoon we were up at Magdalen Park for our next Wimbledon and District League match. First to finish were Caroline, Jonny, Richard F and Martin who won an equal number of ends to their opponents; picking up four 3s in the game helped to see them to the win 18 – 13. Second off were Sarah, Rosalind, Richard S and Pete who also won nine of the ends but just came up short, losing 15 – 19. Sue F, Ashley (making his league debut), Anne and Neil were last to finish and although they dropped a 5 and a 4 during the game, winning 12 of the 18 ends helped to see them across the line with a 22 – 15 win. Match result 8 – 2 (55 shots to 47). Thanks to all the players, with a special thank you to Jonny, Ashley and Sarah who came in at the last minute to make up the full team.
