League Match v South London

24.8.25 – This afternoon our second league match saw us host South London. Claire W-A, Richard F, Richard S and Martin were 4 – 11 behind after 9 ends, but fought hard to edge the second half 9 – 6, narrowly losing 13 – 17. Sue F, Sue R, Anne and Neil benefitted from some unfortunate help from the opposing skip and went from 5 – 6 down at 7 ends to win 21 – 9. Claire T, Mark, Vera and Barry led 10 – 3 after 9 ends, maintaining the lead to win 16 – 9. Match result 8 – 2 (50 shots to 35). Thank you to Caroline for her support at the green.
