Not Quite in The District Ladies’ Singles

17.7.24 – This evening Claire T was over at Southey for the 1/4 – final of the District Ladies’ Singles. After nine ends the scores could have hardly been closer with Claire 4 – 5 down. Unfortunately Southey then put together a run of five ends to lead 15 – 4, before Claire narrowed the gap to 16 – 10. After further close exchanges Southey advanced to the Semi-Final with a 21 – 10 win.
