Not to be in This Evening’s District Semi-finals

22.8.24 – This evening we had two district semi-finals. Up at South London Matt and Neil played Heathfield. After a poor start which saw WPBC 1 – 9 down after just three ends, Matt and Neil clawed their way back in to the game to get to 13 – 16 after 14 ends. Unfortunately that was as close as it got and the match ended with Heathfield victorious, going through to the final 21 – 14.

Over at Southey, Claire T, Pete and Martin played Wandilea in the Mixed Triples. After a much delayed start, Wandilea dominated the game and it was they who advanced to the final.
