Opening Round Success in the Men’s Surrey Triples

5.6.18 – This evening Barry, Pete (sub for Martin) and Neil travelled to Croydon Municipal Officers BC for the first match in the Surrey Men’s Triples competition. Starting strongly, with good drawing from all three WPBC bowlers, saw them open up a 10 – 1 lead after 6 ends. The lead had grown to 21 – 3 after 11 ends and with hands shaken after 16 ends the final score stood at 24 – 9. A lovely evening with great company, thank you to CMO for your hospitality.
