Our 2nd District Finalists

13.8.24 – This evening Anne and Neil were up at South London for the Semi-final of the District Over 55 Mixed Singles, where they played Heathfield. In a close game, where both pairs only picked up singles or twos, the seventh end proved decisive, as Anne and Neil picked up a count of five to move to 10 – 3. The remaining ends were keenly contested, but it was Wimbledon Park who maintained the lead to book the club’s second place in the District finals with an 18 – 8 win.
