Surrey Men’s Pairs

5.6.25 – This evening, up at South London, Pete and Martin played their Surrey Men’s Pairs match and it turned into a really close game, with both teams winning nine ends. Despite some brilliant bowls from Martin throughout the game, it was settled by a measure on the last end which went to South London and prevented WPBC from taking the game to an extra end. The final score 16 – 14 to South London.

Earlier in the day Barry and Neil had their game given to them due to one of their opponents having had his wife taken to hospital. We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
