Terrific Performance in our Second League Match of the Weekend

23.6.19 – This afternoon we welcomed South London to the green for our second league match of the weekend. Matthew, Christine, Anne and Pete held their own until 10 ends when they were 8 – 10 down, the second half however belonged to the visitors who won the game 24 – 11. Claire, Johnny, George and Sabrina got away to a flying start leading 11 – 1 after 5 ends. Holding on well they posted a 24 – 19 win. Luke, Ange, Mike and Vernon again started strongly leading 14 – 6 after 11 ends and continuing well in the second half to win 24 – 13. Thanks to Ange for stepping in as Captain for today. Match result 8 – 2 (59 shots to 56).
