The 9th Merton Primary Schools’ Bowls Tournament

18.6.24 – Today, over at West Wimbledon BC, two teams from Holymount Primary (supported by West Wimbledon) and two teams from Holy Trinity C of E Primary (supported by Wimbledon Park) took part in the annual Schools’ Tournament. Each of the four teams played each other in a double rink format over 6 ends. At the end of the tournament the trophy, medals, certificates and gifts were presented by the Deputy Mayor and by the Surrey Men’s and Ladies’ Presidents, along with the Men’s Vice-President.

Holy Trinity were the winners of the ‘Refspect Award’, for the sportsmanship they demonstrated throughout the day and Holymount Harriers were crowned as Champions with 303 points, ahead of Holy Trinity ‘H’ on 284, Holy Trinity ‘T’ on 254 and Holymount Heroes on 239.
