What A Great Opening Weekend!

23.4.23 – The 2023 season got off to a wonderful start with 18 club members taking to the green on Saturday’s opening day.

Sunday’s opening season round robin competition saw 16 players playing in 4 groups, with the winners going through to the semi-finals. At the end of the group stage, Sue F, Bob, Richard F and Claire T made it through to the semi-final where Bob beat Sue 6-3 and Richard beat Claire 4-2. In the final Richard picked up a full house on the first end to lead 3-0, before Bob scored a single on the remaining 5 ends to win 5-3. A great start for our newest member.
