What a Nail-Biter of a Match!

8.8.25 – This evening Jackie, Barry and Neil were at home to Belmont/Heathfield in the ¼ – final of the District Mixed Triples. In a nail-biter of a game, the scores were level at 8 ends and again at 11 ends, 13 ends and 15 ends, before WPBC picked up their second successive three to lead 18 – 15 with two ends to play. Dropping singles on the last two ends was enough to just see them cling on to the win and the club’s 12^th spot in the District semi-finals. A huge thank you to Richard F for his support at the green.
