WPBC Ladies’ 2 Woods Competition

9.6.24 – This afternoon 8 entrants took to the green for the Ladies’ Two Wood Competition, where they were initially drawn into two groups. In the Red Group were Claire W-A, Gail, Sue F and Sue R, whilst in the Blue Group were Alison, Caroline, Christine P and Rosalind. After everyone had played three 8-end games against their other three group members, the four semi-finalists were Group-Winners Sue F and Alison, who had won all three of their group matches, and Group Runners-Up Claire W and Rosalind who had both won two group games. In the semi-finals Sue F beat Rosalind 8 – 5 and Alison beat Claire W-A 8 – 2. The final between Sue F and Alison will take place during Finals Weekend (31st August/1st September). Thank you to all the players who made the afternoon such a success and a huge thank you to Richard F for arranging the whole afternoon.
