3rd District Semi-final Place Booked

This evening Luke, Ralph, Pete and Jonathan travelled to Chessington for the quarter-final of the District Men’s Fours. After a slow start, which saw them trail 6 – 11 after 8 ends, they found their form and 8 ends later were leading 19 – 12. Losing four out of the remaining five ends led to a nervous finish but WPBC did enough to book the club’s 3rd District semi-final place with a 20 – 18 victory.
