Latest League Result

This afternoon Wimbledon Park welcomed Wandilea for their latest league match. With three of our regular skips unavailable, we owe our thanks to Pete, Vernon and Jonathan for stepping in to skip today’s rinks as well as to Helen for captaining the team. George, Rosalind, playing in her first league match, Sabrina and Jonathan pulled off a tremendous 32 – 17 win, winning 13 ends to 8. Mary, Betty, Gay and Vernon unfortunately went down 9 – 36, whilst Cherry, Anne B, Helen and Pete also lost by 10 – 21. Match result 2 – 8 (51 shots to 74).
