Men’s Surrey Triples

Wednesday evening saw Barry, Richard S and Neil play the first round of the Surrey Triples as they welcomed Temple to the green. In a topsy turvy game, WPBC were 14 – 4 down after 11 ends, before securing the next four ends to leads 18 – 14 with three to play. Temple took the next two ends to level at 18 – 18 and then ran the jack to the back on the final end to give Temple another three to win the match 21 – 18. Thanks to Caroline, Mark and Gail who stayed on after club night to support the triples, despite the cold weather.
