District Men’s Singles Semi-Final

On Wednesday evening Neil was up at Heathfield for the Semi-Final of the District Men’s Singles, as he took on Belmont. Drawing well from the start Neil led 9 – 4 after 6 ends, but he then dropped 8 shots in the next 5 ends to trail 11 – 12. Back to the drawing game saw Neil win 7 of the next 8 ends and with it the game by 21 shots to 13 to book the club’s second place in the District Finals.
