13.7.23 - This evening Sabrina was at home to Wandilea in the District Ladies’ Singles. Starting strongly Sabrina opened up an 11 - 6 lead, before Wandilea levelled at 14 - 14. With further close ends taking place, Sabrina got to 20 - 16, before her opponent won the next three ends of the 26-end game to advance to the Semi-Final 21 - 20.

This evening Bobby, Barry and Neil took on Magdalen Park in the District Men’s Triples. Unfortunately WPBC were on the end of a far more consistent display from their opponents who went on to win 22 - 7.

10.7.23 - This evening Claire T and Martin welcomed Purley Bury to the green for the Surrey Mixed Pairs. In a close game, with all bowlers drawing well, they found themselves 2 - 7 down after 7 ends. Picking up scores of 3, 3 and 2 saw them edge into the lead and a count of 5 on the 17th end took them across the line with an 18 - 10 win.
