Heathfield Gala Day

27.5.24 – Claire T, Matt, Pete and Neil represented Wimbledon Park in today’s Gala Day up at Heathfield BC. Playing 5 short six-end games during the day, WPBC had four wins beating Temple 10 – 4, Heathfield 4 – 3, Streatham Park 13 – 1 and Magdalen Park 6 – 5. The one loss was against South London, losing 4 – 5. After all the results were in, Wimbledon Park finished second in their group just behind another Heathfield team who had four narrow wins and a draw and who then went on to beat Mitcham in the final. A huge thank you to Heathfield for hosting the event and to all 24 teams for taking part.
