Sep 1st - This evening Anne and Sabrina played the Semi-final of the District Ladies' Pairs as they took on Colliers Wood up at South London BC. Despite early close exchanges it was their opponents who opened up a lead, going on to take the victory in the dark with a 22 - 11 win. Thanks to Martin for his support this evening.

Aug 31st - This afternoon we hosted Merton BC in the penultimate Mid-week Triples League match. Rosalind, Ossie and Vernon got off to a flying start and led 13 - 4 at 9 ends. Aug 30th - This evening up at Heathfield Wimbledon Park played two District Semi-finals. First to finish were Sabrina, Barry and Neil playing in the Bill Simpson Mixed Triples. Aug 22nd - This evening, over at West Wimbledon, Neil played Raynes Park in the Semi-final of the District Men's Singles competition. Playing on what turned out to be a tricky rink, the lead changed hands 5 times in the first 14 ends, before Neil opened up a 17 - 11 lead. Not to be outdone his opponent closed the gap and after 24 ends the score was 20 - 19. ...

Aug 21st - This evening Barry, Martin and Neil took on Belmont (skipped by Jonathan), up at Heathfield in the Semi-final of the District Men's Triples. Despite some high quality bowling and each team winning 9 ends, it was Belmont who advanced to the Final with an 18 - 13 win. Thanks to Pete for his support.

Aug 19th - Wimbledon park ladies travelled to Heathfield to play the 2nd round of the Heathfield Ladies friendly. Always an enjoyable exchange it was a tale of 2 rinks. Playing well from the start Ange, Claire and Sabrina built up a strong lead against Healthfield and their Wimbledon park sub Rosalind, winning 23/14.

Aug 17th - This evening Sabrina and Barry played the defending champions from Streatham Park in the Quarter-final of the District Mixed Pairs. Unfortunately for Wimbledon Park their opponents were in fine form, drawing well and advancing to the Semi-final with a 22 - 8 win.
