26.5.21 Win for Wimbledon Park in the League

This afternoon we travelled away to Magdalen Park for our latest league fixture. With both sides fielding 10, rather than 12 players, there were no shots deducted for not having full teams. Luke, Rosalind, Richard F and Martin were the first off, having turned around an 8 – 5 deficit at 8 ends, to win 22 – 14. Anne, Richard S and Neil were next to finish, having gone from 5 – 4 at 6 ends, to 20 – 4 at 16 ends, ending the game with a 25 – 11 win. Ange, Pete and Barry led 8 – 7 at 13 ends, but pulled away in the latter stages to win 24 – 12. Match result 10 – 0 (71 shots to 37).

Back at Wimbledon Park we hosted our next bowls party. Thanks to Ange, Anne and Barry for their help clearing up after the party had finished.
