30.6.21 Off to a Winning Start in the Surrey Men’s Over-55 Fours

This evening, Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil were over at Wallington, as they began the defence of their Surrey Senior Fours title. Picking up a five on the second end helped WPBC to a good start, but the home side dug in and edged ahead 8 – 7 after 8 ends. Close exchanges over the remaining ends kept the game tight, but it was Wimbledon Park who advanced to the next round with a 14 – 12 win.
