2.8.21 Our 6th District Semi-Final Place

This evening Sara, Barry and Neil played Claire, Pete and Martin in the Quarter-Final of the District Mixed Triples. Starting strongly Neil’s triple opened up a 14 – 1 lead after 7 ends, before Martin’s triple bounced back with counts of 6 and 3, to leave the score at 16 – 10 after 10 ends. The remaining ends were all closely fought, but it was Sara, Barry and Neil who advanced to the Semi-Final with a 23 – 13 win.
