28.8.21 A Strong Showing in the League

This afternoon we hosted Merton in our latest league match. First to finish were Anne, Rosalind, Pete and Martin who found their opponents in great form, going down 13 – 20. Next to finish were Ange, Roger, Ossie and Neil who won 36 – 8. Last off were Claire, Gail (having a great league debut), Richard F and Barry. 7 – 11 down after 10 ends, an amazing second half saw them win 30 – 14. Match result 8 – 2 (79 shots to 42).
