An eventful evening

June 20th – this evening at Wimbledon Park, Pete and Martin took on South London in the postponed Surrey Pairs match. From the start the home pair drew well and managed to secure the win and a place in the Area semi-final by 23 shots to 11. Also at Wimbledon Park, Derek, Ossie, Vernon and Martin played the postponed Surrey Top 4 match. Despite WPBC winning 12 ends to 9, it was Merton Park who advanced to the next round as Wimbledon Park lost a tight game 15 – 18. Thanks to Betty for coming down to support the players.
