1st Place in the District Semi-finals

Congratulations to Rose (Magdalen Park), Luke and Jonathan who this evening became the club’s first representatives to get through to the semi-final of one of the district competitions. Playing in the Mixed Triples away at Heathfield honours were even early on with the scores tied at 7 – 7 after 11 ends. 4 ends later and Heathfield had moved in to a 13 – 8 lead with only 3 ends remaining. Not to be outdone the Wimbledon Park/Magdalen Park team picked up a 3, 1, 2 in those final 3 ends to claim a 14 – 13 victory.
