5th District Semi-Final Place Achieved

12.8.19 – This evening Barry and Neil played Magdalen Park in the 1/4-Final of the District Men’s Pairs. 5 – 1 down after 3 ends seemed to spur Wimbledon Park on and four ends later they led 13 – 5. Five ends later and Magdalen Park, continuing to draw well, had closed the gap to 14 – 10, but, with the light fading, the final ends went to Wimbledon Park who booked the Semi-Final spot with a 25 – 11 win.
