A Bit of a Marathon in the National Champion of Champions

24.5.24 – This evening Neil welcomed Wallington to the green for the first round of the National Champion of Champions competition. Starting strongly, Neil opened up a 10 – 3 lead after 10 ends, only to be out played in the next 14 ends to trail 15 – 19. Picking up a 4 on the next end was backed up with two singles to see Neil take the 27 end marathon 21 – 19. Thanks to Rosalind for marking at very short notice and to Richard F for his support at the green.
