A Close Encounter in the League

21.8.22 This afternoon we welcomed Wandilea for our latest league match. First to finish, Luke, Claire T and Martin went to the last end 17 – 16 ahead, but a count of four to Wandilea saw the match finish at 16 – 20, reduced to 13 – 20 for playing with only 3 players. Second off, Anne, Sue R (making her league debut), Ralph and Neil won 15 ends to 6, taking the game 25 – 10. Last to finish, Rosalind, Dez (making his league debut), Richard F and Barry found their opponents in fine form, finishing 16 – 26. A very tight match result saw Wandilea win 8 – 2 by 56 shots to 54.
