An Eventful Day for Wimbledon Park

6.7.19 – This morning Alison and Neil played the District Over-55 Mixed Pairs up at Heathfield. With both of their opponents drawing well the going was tough and after 7 ends Wimbledon Park trailed 3 – 14. 7 ends later and the margin was the same at 8 – 19. Hands were shaken at 20 ends with Heathfield progressing with a 23 – 13 win.

Back at Wimbledon Park, 6 visitors took to the green for the first taster session of July. Following the tasters session we hosted our first party of July; thanks to Barry for his help setting the party up.

In the afternoon we travelled to Colliers Wood for our latest league match, only to find that our opponents were unable to field a team and had conceded the game to us.
